Comparisons / Dockge
Comebye vs. Dockge
If you're one admin on one box, Dockge might be all you need.
Dockge, from Uptime Kuma's creator, is a fast, free, MIT-licensed compose stack
editor: interactive compose editing, a run-command-to-compose converter, and
(since 1.4) basic multi-host agents. It's built for an individual operator, not
team governance — by its own maintainers' framing. That's exactly the gap
Comebye fills once you're more than one admin.
Choose Dockge if: you're a solo homelabber or single admin who
wants a fast, no-nonsense compose editor and doesn't need multi-user access
control. Choose Comebye if: more than one person touches the
fleet and you need RBAC, SSO, audit logging, or a safe promote/rollback
workflow between environments.
